Well well I have to sing for my supper eh?

My name is Joanne, and I'm doing journalism/international studies majors, asian studies minor at the undergrad level. I'm going to Shanghai this winter to carry out interviews for my research on hospital access and care in urban China buuuut, if I do fill three months with pure research, I might just go crazy.

So I started looking into things to fill my time, and found that Fudan offered an "intensive language" (not sure how true that promise will be, considering the 'gram is 1 month long XD) for January through a helpful forum member. I haven't actually applied yet ::twiddled thumbs::, but eventually this will happen before december. Let me know if anyone is interested in updates of that process OR PLEASE GIVE ME A JOB. YUP, THANKS.

Hey Amy!

I ended up deciding to not do the January program anymore and concentrate on research and a part time job instead , so I'm afraid I don't have any tidbits to share about Fudan's language program!!! I'm sorry I'm always up for making new friends though ^_^ I know you'll have fun though - Shanghai is awesome.
