Closing A Yahoo Account

Okay so you know when you do one of those stupid things that you really haven't thought through....yeah just did it. Always debating about how to improve/do more writing yadayada and so as a though i got on to yahoo.cn or whatever it is and registered for a blog/email account. And of course I decided that that is not what I want to do... and now I want to kill the account. I can read and understand pretty much most of the stuff on this chinese website but I lack the basic idea of what the opposite of 登记 哈哈. And in my mind this is a chinese computing question because I don't even know where to find the place to unregister on their website. And I've looked at everything that even hints at the word 帐户 or 管理. HELP! :help

Most sites don't like you cancelling accounts, so they make it as difficult as possible. Probably your best bet is to forget about it, and then it'll get deleted after X months of not being used. If you've put up content/information on the blog that you don't really want to stay around, just go and delete it all, and then forget you ever opened the account.

No I'm not that smart....

If nothing else I will let it just die in 4 months (something I did find out in the help section). And yes I hate how company's make it hard to close an account and the reason I want to do it is I hate the fact of something sitting for four months and possibly somebody doing something. Small chance but hey...

You're A GENIUS! It worked and just for future refrence for the idiots of the world that are like me they used both 删除 and 终止

But then just to be sure I went to the 帮助中心 and did a search for both terms and it gave me nada! So they have no help page telling people how to close except the english one... (@** holes)

I am here to help.

Surefire methods to help get your yahoo.cn account yanked:

1) send out e-mails en masse about the virtues of FG

2) start some online petitions for government redress

3) discuss the merits of a two China system

That account will be gone in no time!

But when asked, you don't know me.(sh)

That method might also make you reach - in form of an out-of-court settlement

I might be "reaching" here, but I think I might not be the only one using voice recognition.

So as not to get off topic: You see OP, you have no reason to fear. After you get out of jail Yahoo will pay dearly for Haidian that unregister button. (Dammit I meant "hiding" not "Haidian" no kidding)
