that.SPARTAN Posted December 5, 2007 at 03:13 AM Report Share Posted December 5, 2007 at 03:13 AM Hello, I'm keen on getting a tattoo on my arm that has the word "Spartan" used as its text. Although I'm interesting in getting it done in some form of Asian literature, because it appeals to me more, in terms of a tattoo. Could anyone assist me in any way possible? :] I am very appreciative. Cheers.
muyongshi Posted December 5, 2007 at 04:12 AM Report Share Posted December 5, 2007 at 04:12 AM The translation is 斯巴达人/斯巴達人(trad) and sounds very funny and doesn't look that great in Chinese at all. My advice get it in English.
skylee Posted December 5, 2007 at 09:08 AM Report Share Posted December 5, 2007 at 09:08 AM When a room or a lifestyle is described as "spartan", the term can be translated to 簡樸.
Lu Posted December 5, 2007 at 10:00 AM Report Share Posted December 5, 2007 at 10:00 AM Maybe you can get it in Greek letters instead. After all, that's were the concept comes from. I think that would make a much better and more interesting tattoo, with a much smaller margin of error, while still being exotic. I'd type the letters for you here but have no idea how to type Greek.
