A lovely song I found online titled 新贵妃醉酒. You might think that there are 2 person singing in this song but actually, this song was sang by 1 person, a guy. He is very famous for impersonating female roles.

Here is a photo of the singer. I have the MTV of this song too but I will post again tonight.

Not a bad song and while he sounds feminine enough for most part there are a few parts where it is obvious that it is not a natural feminine soprano as it were. And I don't know that passing off as a women is something I personally would be proud off. I think women look better as women and I wouldn't even want to aspire to doing that.

If he is just able to pass as a woman, I wouldn't feel he has anything to be proud of. However, he is doing this because this is the art form he has been trained for since chidhood; i.e. Chinese Opera. I place him in different category than the average transvestites.

I also discovered him only one week ago. I think I found out that he is a classically trained Chinese Opera singer. That is why he is able to sing like a woman so well. I always admire male actors playing female roles in Chinese Operas. I notice, a lot of times, a male actor in the female role is actually singing better than the female actoress in the female role in the case of Chinese Opera. I found that out in Taiwan many years ago. I think this guy is probably better than many of his female colleques. I think he should be proud for his art form.

Yup, I agree with fireball. I think men playing female roles in Chinese opera sounded good too because their voice are more mellow. The females on the other have a sharper voice. I am not saying that the females don't sing well. There are quite a few female actors whom I admire too.

I just realised that I told you guys I will post the MTV but I did not! So sorry...

Here it is:
