can someone help me identify this chinese text?

I'm re-creating this card in photoshop and was wondering if someone would be so kind enough to type these chinese letters into text format for me to paste into photoshop, as I haven't a clue what they are. Also if they can be translated that would be an extra bonus :)

would appreciate this very much if someone can do this.

Well first it would be nice if you rotated it so we don't have to rotate our heads....

接著劑製品營(?)業部

東京都世田谷区玉川台

大阪/明古屋

仙台/pi(can't find it in my input)島

Sorry going to bed...someone else can get the extra points...

Nice one! Thank you muyongshi! :D

Apologies for the awkward angle rotation. Someone else is hosting this picture and I just quickly grabbed the link. here is the rotated version:

If anyone can find the missing symbol that would be superb!

劑製品 - It's some sort of product that could connect or stick things together. Unless you have some idea of what they are or you are in the same industry, the translation might be a little hard.

營業部 - Operations Department (?) or could it be Sales Department (?) If just by the meaning of the words, it should be Operations Department. However, it could be the Sales Department because it is the one that "runs the business". Therefore, I am not sure. Since I don't work in Chinese speaking areas, could someone who does work in Chinese speaking areas help to translate this term.

東京都世田谷区玉川台 - Tokyo City (and the specific location - please find them on a English Japanese map or something. I don't access to one.)

大阪 - Osaka

古屋 - Nagoya

仙台 - Sendai

廣島 - Hiroshima

thanks fireball for filling that stuff in :)

This is a prop of a phone card from the future, so you're on the right track :-D

excellent work guys! I will add these symbols to my photoshop text. can anyone figure out the missing ones?

This is a Japanese name card.

If you want to reproduce the card properly, then you should be using characters in their Japanese forms, as shown on the card. Most Japanese kanji are the same as their Chinese equivalents, but a few are different.

Thus your text should read:

製品業部

東京都世田谷区玉川台 2 - 33

大阪 ☎ 305-3131 / 名古屋 ☎ 332-[ ]

仙台 ☎ 61-2811 / 島 ☎ 47-2[ ]

It looks like the phone numbers for Nagoya and Hiroshima have been truncated.

Sorry about the 明 error must have hit the wrong key...and for 着 I had it on traditional input and didn't catch that one. And since I was using a chinese input rather than kanji it didn't help.

Thanks for keeping this thread alive folks

889: Thank you very much for that full text, much appreciated :D I should have pointed out alot of the theme in the movie where this card is from (bladerunner) is japanese kanji. My assumption was that it looked chinese, but thats very interesting to hear they have simular forms.

Again, great work guys! You've all been extreemly helpfull :clap
