Big white guy isn't for big white guys, as the tag line says, it's about "the adventures of a BigWhiteGuy living in Hong Kong". In any case, Shanghaiist also has the same syndicated dating service so if you really have issues with BWG, you could always try that instead.

Mavericker: maybe I'm way wrong here, but can't you (or a hypothetical black guy) not just use any of the sites that cater for foreign guys and Asian women? I wasn't aware that these aren't open to blacks.

I spent a few months in beijing and found meeting chinese girls way easier than british girls... I just just literally smiled and started talking to them (in bars, clubs, shops), and the rest falls into place. Aslong as your confident, open and friendly you can meet alot of people and make alot of friends.. its no cliche.
