ai_ya Posted December 28, 2007 at 03:28 PM Report Posted December 28, 2007 at 03:28 PM Here's my backgroun I'm 18, soon to be 19, I have a HSK level 6 and function in both Mandarin and Cantonese, I'm currently on a 'gap year' , next year I'm supposed to go back to university in England to study Chinese as a degree course - BUT i am not sure if this would be the best option for my future....At the minute I have nothing to do, my visa runs out in March so I'm thinking of maybe finding a job until summer and renewing the visa, or look at starting a course in a chinese uni? It would be great if anyone has any advice/suggestions as to where I should go from here! Thanks a lot Quote
BrandeX Posted December 29, 2007 at 01:37 AM Report Posted December 29, 2007 at 01:37 AM Why not study it in China? If you are already HSK 6, and not yet in university, you are probably better than all the graduates (and maybe the instructor, who knows haha) already. Plus with HSK 6 you can study any subject in China, not just language, and regardless of the Major, it costs thousands less than in England. Quote
