Toothpick deciphering

Had dinner a few weeks back at a Peking duck restaurant near Yuyang Hotel - a place with waitresses in those powder-blue suits and the sort of perfunctory service that used to be common in state-owned diners all over the place.

Anyway, the toothpick came wrapped in paper with the following writing on it:

Any idea what the non-Chinese says?

It isn't clear but wild guess - it is probably the same as the Chinese, but in Russian.

Hmmm....looks like you're on to something there. The translator tells me "restaurant" (酒家) is ресторан; I wonder if the rest of it is translated or if it's some sort of Cyrillic pinyin.

Also, is that a normal typeface, or did they get someone to do it up in calligraphy?

It sure looks like real handwriting. Pесторан is correct; the rest looks like Сянманьлоу cyanmanlou. cyan fits 香 xiang1, man 满 man3, and lou 樓 lou2.
