Kristyx Posted January 10, 2008 at 01:44 PM Report Share Posted January 10, 2008 at 01:44 PM Does anybody know the MMS settings for China Mobile M-Zone? I don't have a good brand-name phone, so I can't find any information on the net. My phone is a K-Touch. The settings are currently 1 Rename Profile 中国移动MMS 2 Homepage http://mmsc.monternet.com 3. Data Account 中国移动GPRS 4. Connection Type Connection-oriented 5.Username 6. Password
muyongshi Posted January 11, 2008 at 12:19 AM Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 at 12:19 AM I'm not sure what you are asking for....those are the settings for the phone and they are pretty much, if not exactly the same as mine, which means that is the default. Are you having problems sending texts or something?
Kristyx Posted January 27, 2008 at 09:12 AM Author Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 at 09:12 AM Yes, I'm having problems. I cant send or receive picture messages. General text messages are fine but when somebody sends me a picture message I either don't receive it or get a lot of strange text instead. When I send a picture message, my phone appears to send it but the person never receives it.
LaoZhang Posted January 27, 2008 at 09:31 AM Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 at 09:31 AM Try this. I searched Google for the obvious "China Mobile MMS Settings" and this was the second thing to come up: MMS setup is found here:http://www.monternet.com/moneditor/cs/help/mms/ APN: cmwap Server Name: http://mmsc.monternet.com Gateway: 10.0.0.172 (some phones link this info together with the wap setup) It doesn't matter what brand of phone you use. Try these settings and if it doesn't work, try search results 3, 4, 5, etc... Let us know if that works for you.
imron Posted January 27, 2008 at 02:50 PM Report Share Posted January 27, 2008 at 02:50 PM The settings will almost certainly be region specific. Your best bet is to go to the local China Mobile service counter and get them to help out.
