Hello, Does anyone have any movie recommendations?

I really liked 求求你表扬我 - quiqiu ni biaoyang wo- Gimme Kudos (terrible translation).

The characters speak fairly clearly, it has some funny moments and moves along at a decent pace.

If anyone can recommend something similar I'd be really greatful.

Has anyone seen Ye Lou's Summer Palace? Any ideas where I can find a copy?

Frankly in my idea Chinese soap opera(情景喜剧）is better than movies when you want to learn Chinese through television,奋斗＆武林外传 are popular now

I've got 疯狂的石头 somewhere on DVD. I''ll have another look at it, i probably missed quite alot of the jokes first time round.

瘋狂的石頭 is definitely a must-read in recent years, but it's not a good material for standard putonghua. It's REAL putonghua with a lot of accents that you hear in real life.
