trevelyan Posted January 21, 2008 at 01:57 PM Report Posted January 21, 2008 at 01:57 PM We just put up a 32-bit binary version of Adso compiled on Ubuntu 6.06. If you run Ubuntu, like Adso and are looking for a painless way to get it working locally, just download the file and type: > sudo dpkg -i adso_5.0.18-1_i386.deb Standalone, functional and free translation/annotation/nlp software for Linux users. Contributions and edits continue to be welcome online and will be added to the downloadable version. The program installs as /usr/bin/adso. This version was compiled on Ubuntu 6.06 but seems to run without a problem on Ubuntu 7 as well. It should work with other Debian-based Linux distributions as well. Source code, database and related documentation for this version are all included in the source distribution in the same directory. Quote
