I was glad that 慧如 eventually died, as thanks to her stupidity people got dragged into so much trouble that they didn't have to. 上书房 was basically a soap opera sharing sort of similarity with the trash 还珠格格 in the plot, in which the prince escaped from the palace however was forgiven by the emperor. I anyway don't take it seriously so the storyline being unrealistic doesn't bother me and I actually enjoyed it for some reason.
