I am covering for a friend. btw, during which time of the day would Chinese people celebrate it the most? I am guessing it is during the night... for the lanterns and stuff.. I am going to try and celebrate the most chinese way as possible! and well... maybe do something else... like hanging out with friends or whatever

I live in a small village in China, our folks prepared the performance for the day have gone to attend the parade-show in the county this noon.I think, this time, they are performing in the street ,which only held one time once a year.

But we never had any lantern riddles in our village.

A little pity, because it's not so easy to describe the performance.I can have a try.

Above all, it characterized enthusiasm and passion.

There is a person dressed with ancient costume sitting on a sedan, which is carved kinds of red pattern respecting happy event, acting a ancient official. Many person with the same decoration around him acted as his underling and coordinate with the official. When they walk, the official said some joyful words or expressed his good wish to the people. Then, the underling responded to the official's warm words. The dialogue performed with our dialect, instead of mandarin, which increase its funny.

It's very interesting and motivates the observer around the performance mostly,so finally the performance fully realize the purpose of making people laugh and enjoy a satisfied festival.
