different regions have their own cuisines.

What I can tell you is what Guangzhou people eat at home.

Usually ---

for a meal (i.e. dinner): a lot of one or two kinds of veggies(usually different from day to day), liquid soup (ingredients vary -- sometimes bone based, sometimes meat based, and sometimes veggie or herb based etc), light meat (often chicken/pork/beef/fish, sometimes crab/shrimp/seafood, and of course the filler -- rice.

They eat casually except on holidays, birthdays, or other festive occasions.

Big restuarant foods are considered delicacies

For snacks, there are many traditional folk recipes, such as "pulled pork", "dried beef", "dried plums", "dried orange skin", "red dried ginger", "sour veggie/melons (pickles)", nuts, cakes, and breads etc etc

plus snacks from america, chocolate bars, crackers, candies...............................

No! Not Chinese food again! How can you eat it everyday?

You can substitute the underlined words with any nation's cuisine and still find the it amusing.

Anyway, back on topic. I think you might have to specify:

1) geography (China only? Regions in China? Urban? Coastal?)

2) economy (Rich? Poor?)
