Secret Handshake in Bars or Clubs

Hey about the secret handshake,

Has anyone had the experience of meeting chinese guys at a bar or a club and then when shaking their hand having them lightly scratch the palm with the middle finger?

It feels like a sign for something, we're often joking about KTV girls and such so I think it is probably about prosititution. Though it might be about smoking pot.

Usually I am already drunk or tired and just go home. Do others know about what this scratch the palm hand shake means?

I don't know what in what it means in China right now, but I know what it used to mean in San Diego 15-20 years ago.

The "tickler" was indicating that he was "gay for you".

Like I said, this was along time ago in a different country, so your mileage may vary.

I have also been told that in Turkey it was an indication that the person giving this is ready for sex... so who knows perhaps its a gesture that surpasses the language barrier

It might have been a Gay hand signal.

It is good I didn't follow up on it I guess.

It would just be good if some one with experience in China knows if it means this or something else.
