Every possible transliteration you could think up (e.g., 多米尼克, 多明尼克) would sound absolutely terrible. If you want a Chinese name for yourself, choose something else.

Thanks for the reply, I noticed on they threads you advised that girl to say son or daughter infront? well this is my dad (father) would that make a difference? Thanks again :D

I think Heifeng's suggestion to find a Chinese saying that embodies what you want to express about the person (in this case your father) is much nicer than just writing father. Anyway,

Father is 父亲 and Dad is , or .
