Rii-kun Posted March 13, 2008 at 03:08 AM Report Posted March 13, 2008 at 03:08 AM 德高安/粹人書/辛未正月/一九九一年 Its from a Sifu given to his student. I have a picture of it if you wish I'll post it. I was wondering if someone might be able to help me to understand when it means. I know that the last part means 1991, the last character meaning year, but the rest is a bit hard to grasp. All help would be great! Quote
skylee Posted March 13, 2008 at 05:35 AM Report Posted March 13, 2008 at 05:35 AM My guess is - 德高安 (De Gao An) - probably a name transliterated from a western name (like the name of the student) 粹人書 - written by 粹人 (probably name of the sifu) 辛未正月- the first month of the lunar calendar of Xinwei year (year of the sheep/goat; 1991 is a Xinwei year) 一九九一年 - 1991 Quote
