Sgt_Strider Posted March 23, 2008 at 12:30 AM Report Posted March 23, 2008 at 12:30 AM This is a female name and I can't figure out what the middle character is. In romanization it's spelled as Lam Chan Yan (not quite sure on the middle character, but it sounds like zhan, jan, or I think it sounds like the word lightning in Cantonese, I could be wrong about this) and I'm pretty sure the first and last characters look like this: 林_訢. Can someone here let me know what the middle character look like? Also, I was talking with someone else and she told me that the female name, 李嘉欣 (I think I got it right), is a common name. Any truth to this? Quote
Quest Posted March 23, 2008 at 03:20 AM Report Posted March 23, 2008 at 03:20 AM 嘉欣 is a pretty common name. 林_欣: sorry can't think of a character for chan for a girl in a name. Quote
Lu Posted March 23, 2008 at 07:05 AM Report Posted March 23, 2008 at 07:05 AM Who is the person with this name? Where did you come across this name, what did this person do, perhaps we can find her somewhere online. If it's someone you know rather than someone public, the most straightforward way of finding out is asking her how her name is written Quote
joshyam Posted June 18, 2008 at 09:24 PM Report Posted June 18, 2008 at 09:24 PM could be lots of characters: jan1: 真 珍 甄 chan1: 親 琛 unless you know the meaning of the middle character, it is impossible to identify the correct chinese character to fit here. Quote
