zozzen Posted March 27, 2008 at 05:57 PM Report Posted March 27, 2008 at 05:57 PM I'm working on a small plan to polish all my putonghua pronunciation. I thought i could achieve full proficiency within a couple of weeks, but it worked only for everyday conservation. When i talked about some in-depth topic, like literature, history or even instructing staff how to make food (many jargons involved), I'm often confused with the vowels (like x--> shi, chi--> qi) and tones. Here's the audio clip I picked for my self-training. If you have your favourite, please share it. http://www.verycd.com/topics/58681/ A famous CCTV programme that have an indepth discussion about Chinese culture and different topics. The downloads are not with transcript, but some transcripts have been published. (e.g. 説慈禧, and a series of lecture by 于丹 ) http://www.verycd.com/topics/45613/ A old magical novel in Taiwan. The story is not really funny, but I'd like to make my vocab more colorful. And there's a script for it. Quote

It contains some discussion about pronunciation polishing resources and langdu links, like this for example. Quote
