杰声 Posted April 7, 2008 at 05:16 PM Report Posted April 7, 2008 at 05:16 PM Hi everyone, I'm currently writing a paper on NGOs in china and am having trouble translating one or two terms, would appreciate any help The first term is duel registration regulation, I've got 登记条例 for registration regulation but the only translation I can find for duel is the pistol version, 决斗 >.< And if anybody knows about civil society theories in Chinese I've translated constructive interaction as 良性互动 and field perspective as 领域角度. I know they're technical terms with proper Chinese translations but I can't find them anywhere Also, is 演员 specifically a performer in a play or some form of entertainment, or is it ok to use as a societal actor? i.e. someone who takes part in civil society. The last term is corporate conditions, by which I mean the conditions to be deemed a corporate (legal) entity. I've translated it is 法人资格条件 but I don't know if that sounds funny or not? Thanks for any help you can offer Quote

roddy Posted April 7, 2008 at 11:14 PM Report Posted April 7, 2008 at 11:14 PM Societal / Social Actor (is there any difference between the two?) seems to be either 社会行动者 or 社会角色. Also just found 社会行为人 in this .doc, which might be useful. Quote
