Communists Jokes - where?

I just saw "Hammer & Tickle", a great documentary about political jokes from the former soviet block. You can google it....

That made me think, is there anything similar in China? Must be I guess. I guess no point checking any book shop in Beijing... But are there any online collection (in Chinese) of Chinese political jokes?

But that's about public display. There must be something on people2people level. If you look at the comments on that Danwei article, one entry is from "Ben Lewis", the guy that wrote "Hammer & Tickle".

My friend photographed and posted these political wall pantings outside his house. They aren't exactly jokes, but are humorous in a way, and are definitely political. The tone is more like "These are things we shouldn't be doing . . ." instead of outright condemnation, but the fact that they exist is proof that the problems exist and people are aware of them.

On the topic of satire I found that:

I little disappointing is to write: Understanding jokes in another language is often the highest test of fluency - and then not to have the original Chinese text displayed....

But one word of caution, even in English they are hard to understand.

I once received an obscene yet amusing little poem where the names of well-known Chinese leaders past and present were worked into double entendres. The story involves Song Zuying, a karaoke room and a certain former leader whose surname means river.
