Hello everybody!

In summer 2010 Me and my friends would like to travel to China by motorbikes. We would like to travel to Tongwancheng. We start our trip from Hungary and will travel through Ukraine, Russia, Kazahstan, Mongolia and China. Hungarian people has some historical connection with chinese people. We are posterities of the huns. That's why we would like to visit Tongwancheng.

We need help planing our trip. We need any kind of information, we can use. Food, hotels, ways, Point of interrests...

We would like to get in contact with persons, who like foreign cultures, mainly in Europe.

We would like to make a road movie, to show our adventures, and the countries during our trip.

Please mail me if you would like to help our journey!

Thanks

Your route sounds very similar to that used by Ewan McGreggor in the as documented in the TV seriese "The Long Way Round". http://www.longwayround.com/html/lwr_dvm.html

I think you should take particular note of their experience crossing Mongolia - this was not easy. You may wish to adjust that section of the route.

Yes, I've seen the film and the main idea comes from it. I was earlier in Afrika, and I know the informations from the local people can be very usefull.
