Hello, I have been looking for a chinese name to use in China on business, i chose Su-Lien, because my real name is Sue Ellen.

What tones/characters sound best and have the best meaning for this name? Can you tell me what characters i could choose and their meaning?

苏莲（蘇蓮）su1 lian2 is a possibility. 苏 is a common surname, 莲 means "lotus". Unfortunately, the pronunciation is the same as 苏联, which is the abbreviation for the former Soviet Union.

苏艾霖 Su1 Ai4lin2 sounds a bit better to me.
