Lu Posted April 24, 2008 at 06:41 AM Report Posted April 24, 2008 at 06:41 AM My advice would be to get a doctor back home to examine him, and write an official note, in English, with some stamps and signatures, that no tuberculosis whatsoever was found (assuming that your friend is indeed completely recovered and can't pass the disease on to anyone else). When in China, show the note to the relevant officials. I don't know if anything shows up on a lung photo if you're recovered from tbc, if not, maybe your friend can have a lung photo taken to proof he's tbc-free. Good luck! Quote
monto Posted April 24, 2008 at 07:13 AM Report Posted April 24, 2008 at 07:13 AM TB usually leaves a calcified area in the lung that is quite obvious in the photo. I think some paper as Lu mentioned may be helpful. Quote
