NanDa Application Form Question

I'm in the process of filling in an application form for NanDa to study there this september onwards, and there's are 2 questions on the form I'm not sure if I need to fill them in, they are:

7．推荐单位和电话/Reference & Tel

and

在华事务担保人和电话/The guarantor charging your case in China & Tel:

I can't see anywhere on the form if these are mandatory, however they are in bold. I assume I could use my employer or the night school I currently study Mandarin at as the reference, but I'm not sure what I'm expected to write for the second question.

Anyone filled in this application before, or know what I should write?
