Thanks for your nice words. The blog would be job-related things, in English. The forum would be more personalized, 80% in Chinese language, so work hard on your Chinese study to see it

I just posted a preliminary review of one of the books I got 文化中国. Thanks for the opportunity! I made a new thread in ... I forget where, but it was area that someone suggested the last time I checked in and asked where to post. Somewhere in the reading and studying? I hope it is helpful, and if there are any questions you have about it, I will try to answer them.

I don't really have a preference of which book I would get, so long as it is at a beginner level. I am just beginning to learn Chinese.

I have about a 5-year history of writing for the tech/entertainment industry.

I am actually working on the review for the dictionary of chinese synonyms book. I have 3 books and am trying to do a comparative review. Hope to finish it within a week or so. Given my abysmal performance so far, however....

As to previous (post #1) comment about "fair practice", seems

is a bit vague. What is the "this" being referred to? Would saying something "IS" xxx in this case fall under the slander laws for Australia?. I am not a lawyer
