opper567 Posted May 25, 2008 at 12:58 AM Report Posted May 25, 2008 at 12:58 AM Can anyone here tell me the ping ze tone pattern of Chinese poetry? Which lines are meant to rhyme with which other lines? Quote
Don_Horhe Posted May 25, 2008 at 06:59 AM Report Posted May 25, 2008 at 06:59 AM Ping: -- Ze: V In a 五言律诗 with 8 lines the tone pattern is as follows: V V -- -- V -- -- V V -- -- -- -- V V V V V -- -- These are the first 4 lines, then it's just repeated. If the poem starts with a 平声, the second and first lines exchange their places, so it would be like this: -- -- V V -- V V -- -- V -- -- -- V V V V V -- -- Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Quote
elevenWANG Posted May 25, 2008 at 12:15 PM Report Posted May 25, 2008 at 12:15 PM About rhyme: xxxxx①, xxxxx②。 xxxxx③, xxxxx④。 ② and ④ should be rhyme with each other,① is either rhyme with them too or not,it's not obligatory. ③is not rhyme with three of them. shéi Quote
