derwent Posted May 28, 2008 at 06:39 PM Report Posted May 28, 2008 at 06:39 PM My fiancee and I intend to be married in China. I am English and she is Chinese. I have had so much conflicting advice of late and wondered if anyone knows, or can give solid advice on the documents I'll need prior to travelling to china to be married. I am divorced and have my absolute (we've been waiting almost 1 year for this). I've heard that I need various affadavits sworn prior to going to China and once there I will need to be in the country for 21 days. If anyone knows the current legislation and requirements I'd be very grateful, I have around 4 weeks to sort all of this as my absolute has just arrived - we were expecting it around 6 weeks ago. thanks in advance guys P Quote
