Studying Chinese in Baoding during summer?

I am still a student in my University, in the states (I study electrical engineering). However, during next summer, I want to go to China and study Chinese there. Go and study there for one summer semester.. and then come back to USA and continue with my engineering degree. I was thinking about going to Baoding, which very close to Beijing.. And study there.. What do you think? Did anyone used to study there before? Do you know any good schools there? Also..... in general..What would I need to go and study in China? I can get passport anytime this summer. What kind of visa do I need? Anything else I need to know?
