Guest realmayo Posted June 7, 2008 at 01:50 PM Report Share Posted June 7, 2008 at 01:50 PM Just got myself a Palm TX, and have problems reading pinyin in documents: specifically, letters which have tones display in a nasty font, makes each word very tricky to read. These are from files created in Open Office, saved as MS Word files. Has anyone got any advice? Or, if you use a palm and read pinyin on it with no problem, what font do you use, or what format do you save the document in before transferring it to the palm? Do you use the "documents to go" thing to transfer the file? thanks!
ipsi() Posted June 8, 2008 at 07:19 AM Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 at 07:19 AM As far as I'm aware, it's not possible. I could be wrong, as I haven't tried, but Palm OS isn't very multilingually friendly...

Guest realmayo Posted June 9, 2008 at 08:12 AM Report Share Posted June 9, 2008 at 08:12 AM Okay that's a pity but thanks guys. Am a teeny bit disappointed with the font thing, pinyin and also characters, on the Palm.
