Pinyin tones display badly on Palm

Recommended Posts

Just got myself a Palm TX, and have problems reading pinyin in documents: specifically, letters which have tones display in a nasty font, makes each word very tricky to read.

These are from files created in Open Office, saved as MS Word files.

Has anyone got any advice? Or, if you use a palm and read pinyin on it with no problem, what font do you use, or what format do you save the document in before transferring it to the palm? Do you use the "documents to go" thing to transfer the file?

thanks!

As far as I'm aware, it's not possible. I could be wrong, as I haven't tried, but Palm OS isn't very multilingually friendly... :(

Pretty sure this has come up before and there wasn't a solution . . .

Okay that's a pity but thanks guys. Am a teeny bit disappointed with the font thing, pinyin and also characters, on the Palm.
