DaXiaXuesheng Posted June 26, 2008 at 11:24 AM Report Posted June 26, 2008 at 11:24 AM Hi, My school is going on tour to Australia but stopping over in Hong Kong on the way. They have asked me to write a simple hello-and-welcome sort of thing, but I only speak Mandarin, not Cantonese Can someone help me out? It just needs to be: " Hello and thankyou for your warm welcome - we are the Crossley Heath School" I would really appreciate this :) Quote
skylee Posted June 26, 2008 at 05:35 PM Report Posted June 26, 2008 at 05:35 PM Write it in "Mandarin" and it will be fine. And do share with us what you will write. Quote
DaXiaXuesheng Posted June 28, 2008 at 07:47 AM Author Report Posted June 28, 2008 at 07:47 AM But it has to be spoken :S Are you sure Mandarin will be fine? Thanks for the reply anyway Quote
zozzen Posted June 30, 2008 at 09:57 PM Report Posted June 30, 2008 at 09:57 PM " Hello and thankyou for your warm welcome - we are the Crossley Heath School" may try this: 多謝大家熱情款待, 我地係澳州既 Crossley Health School. but as skylee mentioned, mandarin is fine too. Quote
wai ming Posted July 1, 2008 at 08:30 AM Report Posted July 1, 2008 at 08:30 AM 多謝大家熱情款待, 我地係澳州既 Crossley Health School. I think the OP meant that their school is visiting Australia, not from Australia. Quote
