Lao Yin Posted July 3, 2008 at 08:06 AM Report Posted July 3, 2008 at 08:06 AM A Rubik's Cube can be used for learning many chinese words composed of 2 characters, as shown in the attached images. These are virtual cubes that can be rotated and twisted on a computer screen but real cubes do exist that can be built using printed stickers. To know more, see documents: http://www.mementoslangues.fr/CubeDesign/MiMemoQubeDesign.pdf http://www.mementoslangues.fr/CubeDesign/WangMemoQubeDesign.pdf http://www.mementoslangues.fr/CubeDesign/CubeLabelSheetDesign.pdf There are tables at the end of the two MemoQubes documents showing the lists of all domino words that can be composed from the characters displayed on a cube. gougou Posted July 3, 2008 at 02:20 PM Report Posted July 3, 2008 at 02:20 PM Do yourself a favor and don't ever mention that outside of these forums. There are plenty of people that believe studying Chinese in itself is very difficult already, and if you tell them that you found it easier using a Rubik's cube, they might attack you. Quote
