AJBryant Posted July 13, 2008 at 06:09 AM Report Posted July 13, 2008 at 06:09 AM Okay, annoying problem time. I'm doing some work on the 魏志倭人傳, and there's a hanzi that I can't identify. In this image, I've indicated the problem. It's a list of gifts from the queen of Wo to the emperor of China. Any ideas? I apprciate all the help I can get. http://sengokudaimyo.com/Tempstuff/missing-hanzi.jpg Tony Quote

AJBryant Posted July 14, 2008 at 08:03 AM Author Report Posted July 14, 2008 at 08:03 AM Huh.... Thanks, guys. I was going crazy trying to find this: 彳+付 when I should have been looking for 拊 I can't believe that radical problem I was having. As I think about it, it was majorly stupid not to look for an online text to get the hanzi just to be sure. Man, I really need to get more coffee in me. I don't care WHAT my doctor says. ;) Sigh. Even more frustrating, I just found a reference that the hanzi is actually this: 犭 + 付 so I really have to wonder. Damn. I want a Morohashi. Thanks again!! Tony Quote
