studymandrn Posted July 19, 2008 at 08:42 AM Report Posted July 19, 2008 at 08:42 AM I have done a search, unfortunately I can find answers both yes and no to my question, so... I am in China on a 1 year multi entry tourist visa with 60 days per visit. Can I just fly to Hong Kong for a couple of days to reactivate my next 60 days? In some countries they specify only 60 days per 90, so you could not just come right back. Thanks Quote
BaoMiHua Posted July 19, 2008 at 09:20 AM Report Posted July 19, 2008 at 09:20 AM Yes you can do just that. I have done it, and i've heard lot of other people doing it too. You say you found both yes and no answers to this, was there any further explanations on why it wouldn't be possible to do this with chinese visa? Quote
studymandrn Posted July 19, 2008 at 11:48 AM Author Report Posted July 19, 2008 at 11:48 AM Thanks for the reply. I read about the every 90 days scenario, which is pretty much a "no". But that must just be for other countries. Quote
Rincewind Posted July 19, 2008 at 11:55 AM Report Posted July 19, 2008 at 11:55 AM There are other threads on these forums that say that you don't need to spend any time out of the country before coming back in. In fact one thread says that you don't even need to go into Hong Kong. You just exit china, go out the door into no man's land, round the end of the barrier and back into china again. (assuming your are at the land border) Quote
