northern_guy Posted July 27, 2008 at 09:44 PM Report Posted July 27, 2008 at 09:44 PM I work in the oil and gas industry and work rotations of 2 weeks on 2 weeks off or sometimes 28 days on 28 days off. I'm planning on visiting Beijing in October for 2 weeks. I'm going to be working offshore Italy for up for 12 months on a 2/2 rotation and really want to use my time off to visit various places in China and study Mandarin. I guess to go back and forth to china every month or two I would need some kind of mulyiple entry visa. Can anyone offer some advice on ifs its possible to travel in and out of China so frequently? What type of Visa would I need and is this type of Visa easy to get hold of? Quote
xuechengfeng Posted July 27, 2008 at 11:50 PM Report Posted July 27, 2008 at 11:50 PM You could just do a one-year, multiple entry tourist visa. Obtaining a Chinese visa right now is difficult because of the Olympics; however, hopefully restrictions will ease up when the games are done. Quote
