yueni Posted July 28, 2008 at 03:38 PM Report Posted July 28, 2008 at 03:38 PM Will you be taking the Masters course in English or in Chinese? Plus is your Chinese good enough to be taking advanced courses in that language? If you really do intend to pursue an advanced degree course in China, you should also think about applying for the CSC scholarship offered by the Chinese government as a full ride covers practically all expenses for your studies and you also get a stipend for living expenses. yueni Posted July 30, 2008 at 05:05 PM Report Posted July 30, 2008 at 05:05 PM It's a scholarship and not a sponsorship. There are no strings attached to it other than the usual attend class etc. I obtained a scholarship to go to China to study Chinese for a year, and there were no strings attached. I got the full scholarship which covers tuition, books, medical, lodging and also gives me a stipend. There is also one for getting a bachelor's and also for graduate degrees. You should go to the CSC scholarship website and check out the threads on the forum asking about the CSC scholarship as well, as that is the name of the scholarship. I'm afraid I can't help you with the degree problem though. Maybe somebody else will know this? Quote
