Xiao Kui Posted August 4, 2008 at 06:49 PM Report Posted August 4, 2008 at 06:49 PM I've been home in the US this year and recently got a Tablet PC, which I am loving not only for my work as an artist but also because it's fun to scribble Chinese with,- it's got pretty good handwriting recognition and that's just on XP, I hear Vista is even better. I've seen a lot of Chinese dictionaries and phones you can write on but how is the Tablet PC market evolving there? I know Acer was making them, seems to have discontinued their line of Tablet PCs, Lenovo is expanding and developing their offerings. Anyone notice if the CHinese homegrown brands have taken on the Tablet PC market? What abt UMPCs with writeable or touch screens? (active or passive digitizer) Thanks for letting me pick your brain! yersi Posted August 5, 2008 at 09:26 AM Report Posted August 5, 2008 at 09:26 AM I bought a computer back in April here in Taiwan and the only tablet PCs I could see in the stores we went to were the ones that HP makes (I ended up buying one of those and I'm very happy with it). Quote
