I don’t know what is its origin, but I find it in one of Taiwanese writer Lin Qingxun林清玄’s essays, named “在梦的远方 somewhere deep in my dream”, which is about his greatest, kindest and most hardworking mom. Hehe.

我十五岁就离家到外地读书了，母亲因为会晕车，很少到我住的学校看我，我们见面的机会就少了，她常说：“出去好像丢掉，回来好像捡到。”但每次我回家，她总是唯恐我在外地受苦，拼命给我吃，然后在我的背包塞满东西，我有一次回到学校，打开背包，发现里面有我们家种的香蕉、枣子；一罐奶粉、一包人参、一袋肉松；一包她炒的面茶、一串她绑的粽子，以及一罐她亲手淹渍的凤梨竹笋豆瓣酱……一些已经忘了。那时觉得东西多到可以开杂货店。
