studymandrn Posted August 16, 2008 at 07:47 AM Report Posted August 16, 2008 at 07:47 AM Does anyone know of a good place to get an English to Pinyin dictionary in Shenzhen? I am in Haikou and cannot find one, only English to Chinese characters, which is no help. If you could also recommend a good place for clothes shopping in either Shenzhen or HK that would be great. I understand shopping is everywhere, but I have a very limited amount of time, so I am asking for any major centers. Thx Quote
roddy Posted August 16, 2008 at 12:08 PM Report Posted August 16, 2008 at 12:08 PM If you search 'shenzhen books' or similar there are a couple of bookshop recommendations - no pinyin dictionaries specifically, but presumably they're the best places to start looking. Also, most universities will have bookshops, and the bookshops next to universities with lots of foreign students can be worth checking out. Easier might be just ordering online - studychineseculture.com should be able to help you out. Quote
liuzhou Posted August 16, 2008 at 12:33 PM Report Posted August 16, 2008 at 12:33 PM Shenzhen has a couple of very good bookshops - but I can't remember the names. Get back to you when the Mrs comes home. Quote
