skylee Posted August 18, 2008 at 01:15 PM Report Posted August 18, 2008 at 01:15 PM You like them? Strange. They are not really that well-written and there are some mistakes in them. Strange that the writer can earn a living writing in Chinese. But then there are many very poor local columnists writing in HK. Quote
Saturday Posted August 18, 2008 at 01:23 PM Author Report Posted August 18, 2008 at 01:23 PM Maybe not interesting for someone with as advanced chinese as you. More for intermediate learners such as myself. Quote

Susu Posted July 7, 2012 at 10:43 AM Report Posted July 7, 2012 at 10:43 AM Hello, The first link does not work any more (or exist anymore), but the second one does and look interesting so will be having a go at reading it! I like decipherchinese.com - it is an app which has stories and chinese articles from the news. Topics are quite interesting. I am lower intermediate so the instant dictionary and the audio really helps or I will be looking up words in the dictionary all the time and losing my flow! The nice thing about the app is that I downloaded articles on my phone and I read them when I have time waiting for someone or travelling. 1 Quote
Glenn Posted July 7, 2012 at 10:08 PM Report Posted July 7, 2012 at 10:08 PM That app does look interesting. I may have to give it a shot, although I mostly use my iPod Touch for podcasts. Usually the reading I do on it is on Wikipedia or Facebook (much more often Facebook). Quote
Susu Posted July 12, 2012 at 12:15 AM Report Posted July 12, 2012 at 12:15 AM It was not out before but you can definitely download the 'Decipher Chinese' app on the iPod Touch now. What facebook reading do you do? Quote
Glenn Posted July 12, 2012 at 01:05 AM Report Posted July 12, 2012 at 01:05 AM I have a Taiwanese friend who pretty much posts everything in Chinese. Also, I have my Facebook language set to 中文(台灣), so pretty much everything that people aren't posting is also in Chinese. Quote
