To all the forum gurus, i'm having difficulty translating the english concept 'later' into chinese. I'll give u a few examples in english where the concept is used:

1. "If you keep working this hard, later you'll get sick"

2. "You guys go ahead, i'll catch up with you later"

3. "Tom and Mary were childhood friends. Later they became lovers and got married"

4. Oh, and how would you translate 'Church of Jesus Christ and Later Day Saints'?

I guess that each of the word 'later' in sentences above would be translated differently in chinese.

Can anyone help?

耶稣基督后期圣徒教会. You'd probably have to struggle to find people on the mainland who have ever heard of it, though.

4。摩门教

I am not sure if the church or its members like this name.

Oh, I appologize if it is no longer politically correct. Just remember that's how it was called way back....
