kaming Posted August 22, 2008 at 04:47 AM Report Posted August 22, 2008 at 04:47 AM Has anyone done it yet? Where do you go, and how long does it take? and what will I have to prepare? Quote
imron Posted August 22, 2008 at 08:42 AM Report Posted August 22, 2008 at 08:42 AM Many times. You go to one of the hospitals certified for doing the exam. In Beijing there is one in attached to the hospital in Hepingli. It takes an hour or so depending on how long the lines are. All you need is your passport and about RMB 700. They take blood, do a chest x-ray, do an ECG, and have a doctor ask you if you've ever had diseases like leprosy, toxicomania or paranoid psychosis etc. If you have applied to a school (in another thread you mentioned you'd been accepted to BLCU), it is quite likely the school will arrange for all new students to go together. chinagirl14 Posted August 27, 2008 at 02:08 AM Report Posted August 27, 2008 at 02:08 AM I had my medical done in my home country because the Chinese embassy here needed it to process my X-visa. Will i have to redo it when i get there? Quote
imron Posted August 27, 2008 at 02:58 AM Report Posted August 27, 2008 at 02:58 AM Possibly. Different places have different regulations. Just to be sure, you should bring original copies of all documents, including hard copies of the results from the blood tests, and your chest x-ray. Make sure the medical form also has the doctors stamp and signature. Quote
