Usage of 会怎么样

I need your help with the below sentence I read somewhere on the net:

如果换了你是我的话,你会怎么样呢

I guessed from the context it could mean "If you were me, what would you do?"

I understand the first part 如果换了你是我的话 but I have some confusions in the second part that is 你会怎么样呢?

I know that 会 means can or it could also mean 'would' but 怎么样 generally means 'how' like in 你最近怎么样 - How are you recently? How 怎么样 can be taken to mean 'to do something?' Shouldn't it be written as 你怎么做？

Simply put, 如果換了你是我的話, 你會怎麼樣(做)呢?

(If you were me, how would you do it?)

you can use 你會怎麼樣+verb 呢?

Shouldn't it be written as 你怎么做？

You can also say:如果換了你是我的話, 你會怎麼做(呢)? (If you were me, what would you do?)

Semantic hit it on the dot. I like to add that you can also use 如果你是我的話 as an informal way of saying 如果換了你是我的話. Both are correct. Personally I prefer using the former.

You can also say 换了你是我的话　or just 换了你是我。。。

Actually, both ok. "怎么样"has other meanings. For example, "他不怎么样。"（He is not a good man）.

B: 不怎麼樣! (I would not do anything).

A: 你覺得這樣怎麼樣?

B: 不怎麼樣! (Not so good)
