Mavericker Posted September 14, 2008 at 11:51 PM Report Posted September 14, 2008 at 11:51 PM AZN Network was a station on satellite TV/Cable that showed Asian programming and programs related to Asian Americans-they showed Chinese programs and other programs from other countries in Asia. What happened to it? Did it go off the air due to low ratings or were not enough people were supporting it?. Quote
lemur Posted September 15, 2008 at 12:40 AM Report Posted September 15, 2008 at 12:40 AM What evidence do you have that it is gone? (I'm not disbelieving, I'm just asking.) Quote

WangYuHong Posted September 15, 2008 at 05:48 PM Report Posted September 15, 2008 at 05:48 PM It was dropped because it didn't bring in enough money... That really sucks since it brings my cable lineup down to having only one Chinese channel (CCTV-9). My favorite program on AZN Network was "Getting Drunk in China", where some Asian-American guy went all over China trying the various regional liquors, and getting to visit the distilleries where they were made. It looked like a really fun job (well, if you can stand 'er guo tou' and the likes...) Quote
