dilli Posted September 18, 2008 at 12:57 PM Report Posted September 18, 2008 at 12:57 PM (edited) Hi all, I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out.... I really want to find work(non-teaching) and shift to China (Im proficient in putonghua so language is not a problem). The only thing is, I'm not sure which job sites are the most popular and the most effective ones to register my resume with. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Has anyone here found a job through such a job portal??Please do let me know ps- I almost forgot.. even referances of good headhunters would be just as good! Many many Thanks in advance!! liuzhou Posted September 18, 2008 at 02:03 PM Report Posted September 18, 2008 at 02:03 PM Most non teaching jobs are with joint venture companies and the recruitment takes place in house or at least in the home country of the non-Chinese partner. The headhunters aren't working in China! What skill do you have that a) Chinese people don't have; and B) China needs? That will determine your employability. Quote

Janne Posted September 19, 2008 at 09:23 PM Report Posted September 19, 2008 at 09:23 PM I've also been thinking of exploring working opportunities in China some more. I have a medical exam and by summer 2009 I will have my license as well. Does anyone know of the possibilites to work as a doctor in China? I would guess that there are opportunities at least in Beijing or Shanghai at international hospitals. My chinese is still at a basic level so it would have to be an english speaking environment. It will be at least 5 more years after obtaining the license before I have a specialist degree in a field of medicince, so it would have to be a job at an attending level. (No intentions of stealing the thread intended, just asking to get more info on job-sites and other info about working opportunities in China.) Quote
