huaqiao06 Posted October 2, 2008 at 06:15 AM Report Posted October 2, 2008 at 06:15 AM I'm about to sign a rental contract that ends early April, but I may want to move out by late January (when the university term finishes). I'm concerned about finding a new tenant to take over my contract at that time of year, even assuming the landlord is happy to sign a new long-term contract with them. It's a nice and reasonably priced (1200RMB/month) room in a duplex (复室), next to Jishuitan subway station. Quote
roddy Posted October 2, 2008 at 03:33 PM Report Posted October 2, 2008 at 03:33 PM Sounds like a good price, near to the subway so could be of interest to people commuting into Chaoyang. I'd imagine you'd get some interest, maybe from people moving out of dorms at the end of term. Not the best time of year to do it maybe, but shouldn't be impossible. Obviously the landlord is an unknown quantity. Is that the complex north of the station that crosses the canal? Wouldn't mind living there myself. Quote
