Before leaving Beijing: Charity to give some of my things to?

Hi everyone.

I'll be leaving Beijing soon and have some things that are not worth me sending home but I do not wish to simply throw away (and friends are not interested in). Does anyone know of a charity that would pick up and accept things such as secondhand clothes, small kitchen utensils, small appliances?

I have had good experience with the charity activities of this organisation:

In Nanjing students give the local homeless Ar hu player, clothes, shoes and even cell phones that they won't use when they go back. I think there is second hand bike shop around ,you can look to sell them to hostels as well.
