webmind Posted October 4, 2008 at 10:04 AM Report Posted October 4, 2008 at 10:04 AM I did a runner from a Beijing university because of hostility I was experiencing from the students and administration during the Tibetan riots. My residence permit has since expired. What can I expect when I go back to China to get a job? Will my work permit be denied? Thanks for any assistance. Quote
whereishunter Posted October 20, 2008 at 12:25 AM Report Posted October 20, 2008 at 12:25 AM You should not come back if you can not handle protests, or pressure from other people. As there will be more protests sometime in the future. Maybe you should head to Korea or Japan? But then again there are also protests there..... Might be best just to stay at home then you will be safe!!! Quote
