There's 流年运气 & also the phrase 新年行大运 used as New Year's greeting 行 walk + 运 = 运气 destiny = '走运' 的意思 始终 from beginning to end, carry on through 始终会行运 (finally able to) follow one's destiny/live one's destiny? That song is hard to sing at KTV. It is the hit song from the 80s film 搭錯車. It was one of my mom's favorites. I did post that song in post #118 on Page 6, but youtube removed the video. I'm glad you're hooked too wahaha The following song was actually the song that 'introduced' me to her. This song use to play all the time when I was in Shanghai on this entertainment program that would come on at midnight. Oh, I yearn for those days of hot and humid Shanghai nights, eating ice cream, watching 情深深雨蒙蒙 with my classmates, followed by some 陶晶莹 videos (her CD 青春 had just came out a lil' earlier so it was being promoted left and right). Needless to say I have many nice memories associated with her songs:) Now, without further adieu, the very first song that made me a 陶晶莹 fan! Love her voice, her style, her music, and lyrics here. I even love the random hairdryer scene. No Answer yogurt and coke light?! It's like she's looking in my (mini) fridge~Gotta luv it! I hear ya sister! Yet her singing is classy and I particularly like her Cantonese songs. The same applies to Jeff Chang. I'm not a fan of his high-pitched voice.
