Jose Posted October 5, 2008 at 03:03 PM Report Posted October 5, 2008 at 03:03 PM I work for a software company and I have been asked by my boss, who knows that I have a degree in Chinese studies, to write a short and simple introduction of our latest demo program in both English and Chinese. While I'm used to writing about software in English, I find it hard to write about technical things in Chinese. In particular, I am at a loss about how to translate the following sentences into Chinese: "Use the arrow keys to move the camera." "While keeping the Shift key pressed, use the left and right arrow keys to rotate the camera." "While keeping the Ctrl key pressed, use the up and down arrow keys to zoom in and out." "Press the space bar to return the camera to the initial position." Any help will be appreciated. Quote
constantine Posted October 6, 2008 at 04:34 AM Report Posted October 6, 2008 at 04:34 AM FYI: "Use the arrow keys to move the camera." 移动镜头:箭头键。 "While keeping the Shift key pressed, use the left and right arrow keys to rotate the camera." 转动镜头:Shift+左箭头戓(及?)右箭头。BTW,is it "and" or "or"? "While keeping the Ctrl key pressed, use the up and down arrow keys to zoom in and out." 缩放镜头:Ctrl+上箭头戓(及?)下箭头。 "Press the space bar to return the camera to the initial position." 重置至初始位置:空格键。 Quote
Jose Posted October 6, 2008 at 07:57 AM Author Report Posted October 6, 2008 at 07:57 AM Many thanks. BTW,is it "and" or "or"? I suppose 'or' would be more appropriate, as each arrow key is used separately to rotate in opposite directions, or to zoom in and out in the thrid sentence. Quote
